Welcome to Lavender Studios. By booking a session or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Scope of Service (The "Health Freedom Act" Disclosure)
In accordance with California Senate Bill SB-577, please be advised of the following:
Nature of Service: Reiki and crystal healing are considered "Complementary and Alternative Health Care Services."
Not a Licensed Physician: I am not a licensed physician, surgeon, or mental health professional. Reiki services are not licensed by the state of California.
No Medical Treatment: Reiki is a relaxation and stress-reduction technique. It is not a substitute for medical or psychological diagnosis, treatment, or care. I do not diagnose conditions, perform medical treatments, prescribe substances, or interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional.
Client Responsibility: You are encouraged to consult with a licensed healthcare professional for any physical or mental health concerns.
2. Booking and Payments
Payments: All fees for sessions are due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Pricing: We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Any price changes will not affect sessions already booked and paid for.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Your time is valuable, and so is ours.
24-Hour Policy: We require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged [Percentage, e.g., 50% or 100%] of the session fee.
No-Shows: If you do not show up for your appointment and provide no notice, the full session fee is non-refundable.
4. Client Conduct and Safety
Comfort: During the session, you will remain fully clothed on a massage table. You have the right to end the session at any time for any reason.
Professionalism: This is a professional wellness environment. Any illicit, suggestive, or inappropriate behavior will result in the immediate termination of the session without a refund and may result in a permanent ban from our services.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Lavender Studios and its practitioners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services or website. You voluntarily choose to receive these services and assume all risk of injury or loss.
6. Intellectual Property
